# Installation

Get SOLID Emotes Vol.1 running on your server in a few minutes.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Download the resource**

After your purchase, download `solid-emotes-vol1` from [portal.cfx.re](https://portal.cfx.re/) under Assets > Granted Assets.

No framework or bridge is needed. The pack runs on QBCore, Qbox, ESX and standalone servers.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Add it to server.cfg**

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```cfg
ensure solid-emotes-vol1
```

{% endcode %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Keep the folder name `solid-emotes-vol1`. Emote menus and other resources reach the pack through `exports['solid-emotes-vol1']`.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Restart and try it**

Restart your server and join. Type `/semotetest` to watch every emote one after another, or `/semote 67` to play a single one. Press `X` to stop.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

#### How to update

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Download the new version**

The server console tells you on start when an update is out. Download it from [portal.cfx.re](https://portal.cfx.re/) under Assets > Granted Assets.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Replace the folder**

Delete the old `solid-emotes-vol1` folder and put the new one in its place.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you changed anything in `config.lua`, copy those changes into the new file.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Restart the server**

Players get the new animations when they join again.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
