# Housing scripts

Use your shells in qb-houses, ps-housing, qbx\_properties, esx\_property or any script.

Open `/shellcreator`, pick a shell and scroll to **Use it anywhere**. Every tab shows the ready code with the shell's own name, model and door offsets. Press **Copy** and paste it where the tab says.

| Tab             | What you get                                                                                                                     |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Teleporter      | A door in the city, see [Teleporters](https://grp-development.gitbook.io/solid-scripts/resources/solid-shellcreator/teleporters) |
| Any script      | `EnterShell`, `SpawnShell` and `GetShellPoint` examples for your own scripts                                                     |
| qb-houses | A `qb-interior` export to add at the bottom of `qb-interior/client/main.lua`, and the line for the house tier |
| ps-housing      | An entry for `Config.Shells` in `ps-housing/shared/config.lua`                                                                   |
| qbx\_properties | An entry for `interiors` in `qbx_properties/config/shared.lua`                                                                   |
| esx\_property   | An entry for the shell list in `esx_property/config.lua`                                                                         |

#### Bake a model

ps-housing, qbx\_properties and esx\_property load a shell by model name, so the shell needs to be one real model first.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Install the bake helper**

Start `solid-shellbake` with its four `add_ace` lines, see [Installation](https://grp-development.gitbook.io/solid-scripts/resources/solid-shellcreator/installation).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Publish and bake**

Publish the shell, then press **Bake model**. The shell becomes one model in its own resource in the `[solid-shells]` folder, started on the spot.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Copy the config**

The ps-housing, qbx\_properties and esx\_property tabs now show the config with the model name. Bake again after every new publish.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Teleporters, qb-houses and the exports do not need a bake. They build the shell from its pieces.
{% endhint %}
